Michel

Hey! I'm Michel, born on the 17th of August in 1988.

After trying the piano for a few years and not really enjoying it, I got dumped behind a drumkit and immediately knew THIS was my instrument.

I got my first kit when I was 13, and I drummed my ass off for 4 hours a day, just jamming with my favorite bands blasting on my headphones. After like eight months my mom thought it would be a nice idea to actually take some lessons, so that's exactly what I did! Also around that time, I started to actively play guitar, which I still do alot.

After about 3 years of lessons, in my last year of highschool, I got the crazy idea to audition for the conservatory in Amsterdam; and lo and behold, I actually got in! after rockin' there for two years, I became too busy with my band at the time to continue, so I (regrettably) quit school. A month or two later I quit my band.

After not having drummed in a band fo a while, and not really having drummed much at all, I decided to audition for Maroen. I got in, and we've been rockin' ever since!
